All the recent interviews have CU in his top 5 with comments about the Buffs being among the programs recruiting him the hardest.

I like him at WR, personally, but have no doubt he would also be a playmaker at CB.

I personally like him better at CB. He seemed willing to tackle in run support and displayed good coverage skills. But, then again his defensive highlights were only 1 min long.

How is this kid only a 5.6? Those offensive highlights look great. I couldn't help but be reminded of Peter Warrick on some of those cuts. Like this kid a lot. He's really going to help out his qb in the future. One of those guys who just gets open.

watching the highlights - he is always having to wait on the ball?? not sure if that is the QB or this kid is just that quick? or really finds the holes in coverage? On paper sounds small, but on film looks like he might be ok... like the offer

Did we just offer, or not know about him? Would love to sign him.

CU offered in the period between the end of May and the first week of June. We mods were just slow on the draw with getting him profiled and into the Index.

I actually liked him better at WR. He reminds me of Eddie Royal. Does a great job of finding space and catching the ball going over the middle. Either way, a good player to have with the Buffs.

Given the burst and short area quickness, I think Ross would be a very dangerous punt returner. He seems to have the field awareness for it, too.

Sure. But when was the last time you saw someone with his speed with only 1 TD in his HL. Who knows though, I couldn't find any stats on maxpreps

Good point. I'm guessing that if he is blowing up at camps then he may be suffering from poor QB play during the season. At least we aren't the only school who believes that may be the case. But he does really fit the ATH role. I can see him doing both here. I just think he shows the tools to be a very capable weapon and a slot guy, deep middle threat and punt/kick returner. All things that we desperately need.

1 TD is low, especially for a good team (8 wins last year in a tough league).

17 receptions is also low for a team that had a QB complete 164 balls at a 65% rate for 26 TDs.

One thing to keep in mind is that Steven Mitchell, Devin's cousin, is a top 10 WR for this class and is committed to USC. May not be enough balls to go around, as was the case for P-Rich in high school. Still, I'd like to see more production and a TD rate of in the 10%-20% range.

Wow. Good stats. I agree. I'd like to see more. I guess colleges are offering based on athleticism over production.

Welcome? This is the type of player that should make up the middle of our class. Hopefully we continue to improve from here on out
