Camp News???

Good it will make sure he bends at the knees and not the waist.
Gus really does have a with problem keeping his back parallel to the ground(too much of a frog stance). I still find it amazing that coaches allowed that exchange to happen last year.

That's old school. Here's what centers are supposed to look like from a technique/stance standpoint:

You should be able to read the numbers on the front of the jersey.

You have to drop to the frog squat sometimes when making your pre snap calls. Its hard to point otherwise.

I understand the technique, what I don't understand is why no one else in the 12Pac, that I watched, would have to get as low as Tyler. It seems to me like this would create slower drops and the potential for more fumbled exchanges.

Cal's Alex Mack was one of the best college center's I've seen:

back on topic... anything, anyone?

Camp hasn't started yet.

From summer 7on7s, there have been some reports on 247 and Rivals that a bunch of the freshmen are standing out. But you know how that goes. I'm not going to make much of it unless we hear about some guys tearing it up once the pads are on.

I do like hearing the attitude and swagger the incoming freshman reportedly have. That's something we've been missing for a while. But other than that, I could not agree more.

could it be possible that the "camp" was the high school kids one? if thats the case I'm intrigued too

There wasn't much news out of the CU camp.

Tiny Noller supposedly impressed. Also, 2014 QB Morgan Mahalak looked really good, likes the Buffs a lot, and let his team to the 7-on-7 championship over Sefo Liufau's squad.

This weekend is the San Diego camp and there will be more top prospects at that one.

Mahalak is on Gunnar Graham's team right? I'd love to get him for next year. We'd have quite the varied group of QBs if we had him + Dillon + Liufau.
