Reported Offers: Arizona, California, Kansas, Kentucky, New Mexico, Oregon, San Diego State, Stanford, UNLV, Washington

If we haven't even offered, that's one hell of a flyer Tad is taking by having him visit. Not that I mind. :wtf:

Visiting with Jabari Bird on Sept 8. We better dominate sac state

From 247sports' article on Jabari Bird:

Bird will visit Cal first on September 1st on an official visit before hitting up Colorado on the 8th, Oregon on the 22nd, and finishing his visits at Washington on the 29th of September.
During the Colorado and Washington visits Bird will travel with AAU teammate and friend Aaron Gordon.

"Right now those two visits we will take together," says Bird. "I don't know how to put it, but we aren't a package deal but we are. Don't be shocked to see us both play at the same college. It isn't a required thing but we like all the same schools."

Gordon's a lean for Wash, with Arizona close behind. Cal, Kansas, Kentucky and Oregon are supposedly high in the running too. Don't see a listed offer from CU, but I can all but guaran-damn-tee that he has an offer -- especially if he's coming to visit.

Now we just need to find out if he's on an official visit or unofficial.

To be fair, he may just be coming on an unofficial to keep Bird company. Until I find confirmation that we offered, and that we're paying for his trip, I'm maintaining my excitement meter at 98%.

I just want to point out that on the big guys, to save time, they don't list all of the offers. Just the big ones. So we might have offered years ago and not known.

That said, the unofficial vs official is the big question.

Maybe Tad can convince them that we have a PG Dinwiddie, SF Johnson and C Scott, and yes I know PF Roberson (but most likely leaving to the draft). We are just missing two pieces SG and PF - Bird and Gordon. If by some miracle we sign them, then we would be so deep and definitely in the hunt for Pac-12 titles for years to come along with some deep tourney runs.

The potential of having a great two deep team would be nothing Colorado has seen before:

PG: 1) Dinwiddie 2) Eli Stalzer SG: 1) Jabari Bird 2) Booker/Jenkins SF: 1) Xavier Johnson 2) Jeremy Adams/Chris Jenkins PF: 1) Gordon 2) Wesley Gordon C: 1) Josh Scott 2) Shane Harris-Tunks

To even get these guys to give CU a look is incredible. Bohn better pay Tad what he's worth. Methinks we have the best coach in the nation. Now we just need to address football...

RUN RALPHIE!

RUN RALPHIE!

The last time we had so much talent come in to town in the same weekend, they all had the opposing team jersey on. We have come a long way in a short time, even having these kids come and take a look at what we have to offer is amazing

Too bad, but figured our chances were pretty low to get someone that didn't have Colorado on their list at all. If he doesn't have any interest in Colorado, probably better he doesn't visit--even if it is just an unofficial.

Obviously, doesn't bode well as far as getting Bird if they really both are a package deal. Maybe Bird will be floored by the school when he visits...

This happens often. The campus can really change minds. Get 'em to Boulder and we have a chance.
