Buffs Blank Ragin’ Cajuns

2-0 with another 3 set sweep.

This is the start to the season we needed.

Best part of this one, in my mind, Kerra Schroeder only played in game 1. Of course that's assuming the coaches just sat her to see what the rest of the team could do and to have her ready to go for the final match this evening. If she got injured then that is a very bad thing

No article yet, but the Buffs moved to 3-0 and won the tournament. Came back after losing the first 2 sets in the finale.

Schroeder out with knee injury.

Schroeder went down in the first game with a knee injury. The announcer stated that she was one bench with a bag of ice wrapped around her knee.

Definitely a good comeback. In the third set Buffs were down by 5 then came back to win to keep the match alive. Again in the fifth set, they were down by 5 at 8-3 SHSU, still down by 4 at 10-6 and came back strong to win 15-12. Also congrats to freshman Alexis Austin, named tourney MVP, freshman Nicole Edelman and soph Emily Alexis named to the all tourney team. Only concern is the status of Kerra Schroeder. She played in the first set against Lousiana this morning but that was it for the day for her. Hope she's OK.

UH OH................. fingers crossed that it's not season ending.

Anyone hear anything more about how Kerra is???????????/

I saw her "walking" around campus today. She had one of those full knee braces on her left knee (it goes half way down her calf and half way up her thigh), she was also obviously using 2 crutches. It kinda looked like this:

Hopefully with less hair. :wink2:

Karma her way. Crossing my fingers that it's just a sprain and she'll be back this season.

I'd say the brace I posted actually allows for more mobility. From what I could tell, the one she was wearing was meant to stabilize the knee and allow for minimal mobility, if any
