It's time to clean house

And I mean everybody from the AD to JE to ALL the assistants including Cabral. I love these guys, but it must be done if we ever want to be competitive again. Hire Kirby Smart

Couldn't agree more. Clean house and start over. We're getting worse, not better with each game.

It starts at the top with Benson and Distefano. They need to go first.

I know you are pissed! You should be.

But the question still is: Does Bohn have it in him to fire a coach mid season?
know he doesnt... he's a spineless SOB that jumps when his puppermasters pull the strings. Benson is an ol POS who cold care less.

Bohn doesn't call the shots around here when it comes to firing coaches, don't you know that?

hence my post... he's only a puppet that dances for his masters. AND we all know that benson and dicstuffer dont care.. such is the state of CU football until these morons quit get fired or die. I'd be happy with either one. he still needs to be sheetcanned!

I am not 100% against Bohn at this point, but Embree, et. al need to go.

Bohn needs to go.

He performed a minor miracle keeping attendance up but his coaches have been failures. Even Boyle was a blue light special who turned out by a stroke of dumb luck to be able to win.

Is it realistic to fire a coach after week 3? I am just asking. I haven't seen that done. I am hoping it can be though. This cannot continue one more painful week.

In virtually any other situation, I would say no. But this is absolutely the worst possible scenario for a D1 football team. I just don't think you could create a worse scenario than what we're seeing right now. So yeah, I would say anything is possible.

Did Willingham last his entire second year at ND?

That's where I'm at. I have expressed my issues regarding Bohn's job performance. But the Embree hire is on the Bill McCartney cabal. Bohn wanted to handle the hiring process very differently. But he also had to appease certain interests if he was going to get the backing he needed for the facilities plan. I'm far from a Bohn fanboy, but he's navigating his way through a ****storm without an umbrella to try to get things done at CU. And he has delivered on quite a bit.

We should have enough to pay with the new Pac-12 deals. If CSU can get McElwain, we should be able to get Smart.

Problem is you can't get anyone to come here right now except Tressel. smart isn't leaving Bama mid season. So firing him does no good right now, except to scare away possible coaching candidates at the end if the season.

Bohn once fired a coach who had won bowl games and a conference championship after an embarrassing 70-3 loss to one of the all time great college football teams. What does he do now?

Tressel and Petrino. I wouldn't mind either one at this point.

But the administration was just looking for a reason to fire Barney. They're not looking for one to fire Embree.

Agreed. Getting rid of Bohn at this point makes matters worse for CU's athletic department, not better.
