What does Joel Klatt think?

He is the guy we really need to be listening to in tough times.

It's important that an insider leads the program. After all, we do not want to be embarrassed.

I'm actually enjoying one thing here, seeing that pompous ass name Joel Klatt eat his own crap. Along with that 'tard AZ.

Now, don't ever tell me again that someone like Troy Calhoun is not qualified to lead this program. That somehow some clown who never even got promoted above a TE coach and has never shown himself to be much more than a good recruiter, to lead this program.

Let's approach this process in the future by looking at someone who has experience with turning a program into a better program, as a head coach. That is the ONLY requirement. Would be nice if he has some connection that suggests he might stay here, if and when successful. But frankly, that is secondary by a mile.

Only an insider can understand the unique issues at CU and that knowledge will lead him to success. Must be an ex-player. Ideally, the vast majority of the staff will be ex-players. Oh, if they have NFL coaching experience, that will really lead to success.

Yup. Troy, btw, did it at a school where all the kids are brainiacs too

It's important that the next coach really "gets" Boulder. It's a different type of place, so you need someone who understands the lay of the land and can navigate all the pitfalls.

Does the "mole" go when Embree goes?

Guys, this just isn't the same team that is showing up to practice, just give it some time. We don't understand what's going on.

Troy Calhoun was way underqualified to take over this job IMO.

No more I-25 hires. If boosters don't step up and take the decisions out of Bohn's hands, he'll make another I-25 hire. Fortunately he was kept from doing this last time but it was a close one.

Klatt certainly knows this program better than any of you people.

I look forward to hearing his opinion on the current state of Colorado Football.

In our favor, football is so bad all along the I-25 corridor right now that it would be tough to justify an I-25 hire. Just saying.

I'm not sure there is anyone in the country who is qualified to get this turned around. We're going to have to throw money at it now.
