Saban´s Alabama

How many of you were at the Independence Bowl in December, 2007? I left ****ing Shreveport (aka, God's other asshole) thinking we would be back before Alabama. What a dumb ass.

Saban is as good as it gets in college.

#1 coach hands down. No contest.

When the best current coach (and one of the GOAT's) gets ahold of a historic program. Watch. Out.

mettenberger.jpgLSU will beat them Nov.3 in Tiger Stadium. Mettenberger will be the difference from last's years team. Miles won 24 games the last 2 years without a quarterback.

The power structure in college football is weird. In one sense, there is more parity because the talent is thinner. Less schollies. On the other hand, that same reduction in schollies seems to have created a certain elite (see SEC) that kind of makes a joke of parity.

There are three great teams in this country.

1a. LSU
1b. 'Bama (interchangeable with 1a)
2. U$C

I'd love to see U$C knock off the SEC champ to end the year...
