How many wins this year?

Looking at the schedule im thinking 22 wins sounds about right...

Losses coming against Arizona (away), UCLA (home and if Bazz is playing), KU (away), Washington (away), Stanford (away), and Arizona (home).

I agree with everything except we will win one of the games we wouldn't be expected to. Whether it be Arizona, Kansas, or someone else. We will also loss to some team(s) we shouldn't. I'm guessing against Oregon and Wyoming.

The CSU game should also be expected to be really intense.

Just about the same as last year, 19 regular season wins. Losses to Dayton and one more in Charleston. Lose 1 of the 2 between Wyoming and CSU. Lose @KU, Lose @Zona, lose @home to UCLA, lose @UW, split at home against Stanford and CAL, lose @Oregon, lose to Zona @home, split again with Stanford/CAL away.

19-11

I'll say 19-20 before the conference tournament

Win the opener, I'll go with 1 win in the Classic

Lose at Wyoming, Kansas, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Stanford, and Cal

Lose home against UCLA (if they're all playing), then two of CSU/Stanford/Cal/Oregon/Arizona

That leaves 15 guaranteed wins, and then 3 of those big home game wins for 18.

We probably lose one that I'm guaranteeing as a win (17) and then win 2-3 that I'm predicting as losses for 19-20.

9-3 OOC + 12-6 Pac-12

21-9

First half of our conference slate is tough, and our OOC is tricky. We got the worst possible area of the bracket in Charleston, and we have some sneaky tough OOC games, especially traveling to Laramie and CSU at home.

if we stay healthy, I'm right here.

I am going with 23-7 overall. I think we go 2-1 in the Charleston Classic, lose to @Kansas, @Arizona, @Oregon, @Stanford, Arizona and UCLA. I think we finish 13-5 in the Pac-12.

Looking at your schedule (I didn't know which were exhibitions or if you had any, so I counted all of them as regular games) I'd bet through the regular season you guys have 20 wins, and beat KU on a last second 3 point shot for the upset. Win by 1.

The gayhawks have always had our number. Even in the Chauncey years. Boyle took them to OT in Boulder his first year here. That's as close as we've gotten in a long, long time.

really hoping to go to the Kansas game this year. Not sure how that's gonna happen though.

IIRC, the OT game was Bzdelik's last year here and then Boyle's first year we kept it extremely close but lost in regulation by 4. We also had a strange game in Lawrence in '08-'09 where we were down by a million points in the first half and somehow clawed back and tied it with just a minute or so to go before losing.

Indeed, the OT game with #1 KU was Bz's last year. It was also the game that urged me to start writing. Fun times.

Haven't beaten KU since 2003. Haven't won in Lawrence since before I was born (1983).

20+ feels greedy. I have all kinds of faith in Tad but youthful teams always seem to drop winnable games, no matter who is coaching or how good the talent seems to be. I'm going with 17 wins this year.

I agree with pretty much all of this except I think we'll pick up 2 wins in the classic and we'll win at Wyoming. I also don't see us losing to the lammies at home. We only lost to them by one in their house last year and we missed 16 FTs. The game also starts at 8:30 which ensures the student section is going to be properly intoxicated, along with the rest of the Keg.

20 sounds about right. It is still a very young squad, and one of them ISN'T Anthony Davis! (unless SHT breaks out with some 'tude, then all bets are off. Hey! Somebody break his nose again, in practice, that really fired him up!)

I think we will end up with 19-20 wins. (I am counting us to go 1-2 in Charleston, and lose at Wyoming and Kansas). I think we drop a game to UCLA or Arizona at home this year, but think we can finally beat Stanford at home (not going to happen on the road).

The good news for us is Spencer and Dre will be playing great together and we haven't had dominant PG play since Chauncey was here. 5 of our last 7 are at home so that is good for us.

20 wins regular season should be the baseline moving forward.

Dream Scenario I think we enter postseason at 23-7
Likely go 1-2 in charleston, lose @ wyo, and lose to zona or usc at home to put us at 20-10

Hopefully only need to win 3 in vegas to put us at 23-10 with our second title heading into the NCAA tourney

I really believe we have 22+ wins in us. I know our team is very young, but I do believe we have enough of a foundation (Roberson, Dinwiddie and Booker) to be competitive. Then add a very talented center in Scott and small forward in Johnson, plus others to fill the cracks (Gordon, Chen, Harris-Tunks, and Stalzer). I think that we have enough to really surprise most people in our conference. Not to mention one of the best coaches in the country. We are going to be a lock to be a 5 seed or higher in the country come March. Also the foundation that is being set up for the future. Think about the first and second strings we are going to have next year. PG: Dinwiddie, Stalzer SG: Booker, Hopkins SF: Johnson, Jenkins PF: Gordon and Thomas then C: Scott and Harris-Tunks. We are going to be dirty. #godsaveboyle #gobuffs

I think you are going to see more losses in the begining (possibly Wyo, Fresno, CSU), ones that will make you scratch your head.

But then I think we will be playing some good basketball at the end, so I dont think losses at both Stanford and Cal are given, I think we may pull a few of those off.
