Would you rather see close games and improvement?

Or would your rather see us get blown out in hopes it will cause a coaching change?

The writing is on the wall. If they are going to be losses, then 50-10 is as good as any other score. Let's get these kids a coach that can lead them as they deserve. I'm actually starting to believe that if we continue as we have that the administration will have to take action. This is too much damage to the school.

Blow us out. The last thing we need is for this staff to squeak out a win or God forbid, two and give the admin something to point to so they dont take action. Blow outs in all remaining games has to get things changed here.

The key is that Utah game though. We need to get blown out in that one. I do fear that we win that last game though and that will save all the jobs. In fact, I bet this is what happens and the hole just keeps getting deeper like it did with Hawkins.

this. because....

...get blown out in hopes it will cause a coaching change?

will NOT happen. period. its not about what is deserved and what is not. he will be here next year.

get over it and move along. may as well see these kids experience some success while wearing the CU uniform.

get something positive out of whats left no matter how stupid and little it means. life is too short.

that said, i will shuffle off now.

The way for this nightmare to end without prolonging it into year 3 (and subsequently year 4 if we manage to win anything more than 1 game....yes, our admin is that clueless) is to continue losing by 50 and have a half empty Folsom these final games.

Unless you can predict the future, I'm not yet buying it. This isn't oh, we are kind of bad and the ball hasn't bounced our way 1-11. This is historic, never happened before, worst defense in the country and school history bad with an offense that isn't far behind. Financially, keeping Embree makes absolutely no sense for CU if they lose out. It is so painfully obvious that this staff is terrible, the administration should even be able to see it.

I said this after the Fresno game - this team is undertalented - and wildly undercoached for their talent level. You cannot ask inferior talent to run NFL schemes.

I'm over the JE/EB/GB experiment and look forward to coaches that actually know how to coach the talent available.

(That's a vote for the latter, in case anyone is wondering...)

yep. they should. they wont. but, they should. what else ya got?

Curb stomps. "Winning the last 2 out of 3 in 2011" was the biggest piece of **** in a box that was ever sold.

I really hope we see some potential from our young guys but see the coaches get fired immediately after the season.

Reality: Curb Stomps with no new coach.

If things keep going the way they are now I don't see it. The team looks like they've quit, they come out with no energy, and they aren't getting better. The fans are sick of putting up with it and there will be a steep attendance drop followed by a big decrease in season ticket sales and donations and losing money is something the admin will notice. Who is going to want to buy season tickets to see us get killed at home five times? I was talking to an AD employee before the WSU game and while he was saying Embree needed more time but that tone has changed.

I'm siding with improvement.

My best case, hopefully not overly optimistic case for the rest of the season is: We improve, win a few games, Big wigs make a facilities announcement, we get a bump in recruiting. Embree gets one more year to prove he's the right guy. Next coach (if needed) will have top of the line facilities in the process of being built to help lure recruits and two classes that aren't terrible to begin with.

I really think there is about a .000001% chance we switch coaches this winter. We'd have to lose by 70+ the rest of the year for there to be any chance of a coaching change this season. Also, the next coach is still starting in a crappy situation, because he doesnt' have the tools to compete in the conference, wrt players or facilities. Unfortunately, in this debacle of a season where we're crushed before Ralphie runs a second time, I still think our players are closer to PAC12 competition than our facilities. The new coach this year would have a bunch of sophmores that aren't terrible and then whoever he can pull in 3 months.

Just my .06

Even if a facilities announcement is made tomorrow, and ground is broken this spring - the facilities everyone is hoping for won't be available for use for 2 years (2014) most likely. So fire Embree today, or fire him at the end of 2013, the next coach probably still won't get to use new facilities right away. I suppose they can sell the fact that facilities improvements are under way.

I'm most interested in the tools the next coach has between his ears.

I thought long and hard about which way to vote and came to this conclusion...I don't really care. I'll watch the games on the tube, chuckle with disgust as opponent O's set school records against the CU D, and applaud when there is the occasional good play from the O mixed in with the occasional first down. Other than that, it is out of my hands and BB, Dr. Phil and the yes man will do what they do. If history is any guide, whatever decision is made will reflect incompetence where the AD is concerned.

This poll is one of the ****tiest polls in ****** poll history. **** you buffnik.

Anything for a new coach and staff. New CU leadership would be icing on the cake... I know it won't happen though.

You're kidding yourself if you think getting blown out 4 more games is going to change the administrations stance on Embree......so I guess I'd rather see some glimmer of hope
