1-8 record following a 3-10 campaign in 2011

Recruiting class ranked #62 nat'l/ #11 Pac-12 (Rivals), #64 nat'l/ #11 Pac-12 (Scout), #67 nat'l/ #10 Pac-12

Note on recruiting: CU is ranked near or above Oregon State and Stanford right now because we have 13 commits and they, respectively, only have 10 and 7. This will change on or before signing day and CU will be last.

There is literally nothing this staff is doing well.

CU Football absolutely must go in a different direction. It's worse than we saw in 2009 under Hawkins. Much worse. And we all know what keeping Hawkins that extra year did to us.

FIRE EMBREE!

I think a protest is the only way that this admin will make any move. This will make national headlines and will put even more pressure on them to make a change. If there isn't some form of public protest they will think that it's okay to field a team this bad.

IMO Mac needs to go too. He's just as a big of a problem and he's the one that spearheading the keep Embree drive. Thanks for your time Bill, but you're not relevant anymore(yeah flame away...whatever). It's time for fresh leadership and not just in the A.D., the hole university. Academics are great, but they are only part of the student experience. Some of my best memories from school were at games or celebrating wins(62-36). I can't imagine how someone in a position of power could be so short sighted. We are not Stanford and will never be.

Sacks allowed: #119
Tackles for loss allowed: #118
Red zone efficiency: #71
Third-down efficiency: #116

Red zone efficiency defense: #117
Third-down efficiency defense: #106

We rank in the top half of the country (top 60) in two major categories: net punting and tackles for loss. That is it. Yikes.

Worse yet, "tackles for loss" is a function of the conference we play in and the offensive style of the teams we play. We may rank 52nd nationally, but we're 10th in the Pac-12 on that.

And for those who like to tell us to "be patient, look at McCartneys 3rd year. he went 1-10."

Well, yes he did. But look at the scores of those games...

We lost to Mich. St 24-21, Oregon 27-20, Kansas 28-27, ND 55-14, Mizzou 52-7, KSU 38-6

We also lost to these ranked teams #17 UCLA 33-16, #5 Nebraska 24-7, #10 Oklahoma St 20-14 and #9 Oklahoma 42-17

And we beat ISU 23-21.

Point is, CU was in most games including against highly ranked teams. And the OOC schedule looks way tougher in '84. If the '84 team played this years CSU and Sac St, CU would have won both and who knows, maybe the Fresno St game too. You can see the '84 team had something going. The 2012 Buffs are completely lost.

And CU was leading Nebraska 7-3 heading into the 4th quarter.

Hey if you guys don't want to support the program then get out! If you don't, we could become a national embarrassment.

If I didn't support the program, then I wouldn't be so F***ING worried about it! If you want to sit and be content with a loser then you get out!

Oh and we already are a national embarrassment. (your statement makes me think you might be using sarcasm but who knows on this message board.)

Also, I would be fine with keeping Embree as long as we fired OC and DC and then hired experienced ones.

I don't want Bohn choosing our next coach or staff. He's pussy footed around long enough.

Benson will say how competitive cu was today

The QBs were 16-20 with a TD (and the pic) for 217 yards. Rushed 56 times for 223.

Really, that's great offense. And you lose by 25?

Surprise, surprise. Another week, another team lays 50 plus points on us. I just think it is sad that anyone with ties to this program can even even offer up an excuse or fathom any reason why Embree still has a job.

The fact that some would even consider one more year of Embree is mind numbing. What has he done to show you next year will be any different? He has not recruited much better than Hawkins. None of his recruiting classes have been in the top 30. We don't have the players to compete in the PAC 12 this year and neither will we next year. Our assistant coaches are awful. Not only are we getting mauled and gashed by legitimate teams, minnows like Arizona, Fresno etc are equally having their way with us on the field. In the past, these sort of teams could not even hold up against our back ups.

So we go from winning 1 game this year to 3 next year. Please fire all of them yesterday! We need to begin as soon as possible to try to raise this corpse of a program before it completely rots.

Not only were the scores AND the opponents quite telling, as 190 points out, we delivered severe tests to just about every opponent. I think only the ND squad had one of their "easiest wins" of their season against CU. And to think - that was against a 1-10 team! All the others were still realizing that Mac's CU team would never be an easy victory again.

Other than whatever derelict-of-WSU is fielded next year, is there another conference team that we'll face that wouldn't thinking, "CU's a gimme game"? They won'[t take any team lightly - supposedly - but none of these opponents will approach us with trepidation.

Except maybe, "How HUMILIATING it would be to lose to CU!!"

Sorry - I never EVER want to think THAT is a level of apprehension I want CU Football to strike into the hearts of opponents.

I heard Jerry Palm on CBS Sports this morning talking about "his" Buffs, and him saying he going to bang the drums for change at CU. I think he and Chris Fowler might be people to reach out to in national media who very much care about Colorado to get them to bang the drums nationally. Chris wouldn't even have to say a bunch, but get ESPN to focus on it some.

Interesting thought....but wishful thinking. None of the (relevant) Buff alums are interested in stepping up. **** it.
