Foreman is likely to be one of the more heavily recruited defensive players in southern California for the 2013 class. He has prototypical size and seems to be more versatile than the average high school safety. Given that he plays for Crespi, plenty of schools will have an eye on him.

Underclassman to watch: Crespi DB Tyler Foreman
Celts free safety Tyler Foreman is just a junior, but at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, he was one of the most physically impressive players on the field. Foreman will be a three-year starter for Crespi and has all the physical tools to be a major FBS recruit next fall.

Foreman not only has good size but runs very well and had the hit of the game, coming up in run support and knocking an opposing Dons running back about five yards backward.
"Overall, I felt I did pretty well out here," Foreman said. "I'm a physical player and I'm not afraid of contact. I can read plays pretty well, I know about coverages and I think I can break on the ball pretty quickly as well."
Foreman said he's already hearing from Washington, Oregon, Northwestern, Notre Dame and Nebraska.
"I like Washington and Oregon a lot right now," Foreman said. "Washington has a cool family atmosphere and they're a really good program. I already have a good relationship with Coach [Demetrice] Martin and I'm excited to learn more about their program.
"I really like the Oregon program, I've always liked them to be honest. I like Coach [John] Neal and they have a couple of my former teammates there, Bryan Bennett and Hroniss Grasu, so I would have a comfort level there right away. I could see myself at UCLA too if I decided to stay local. They're showing some interest and Devin Lucien is there and he's happy so that's another option as well."

Did we offer him as a rover type or as a straight up safety? I'd definitely take him either way, but it seems Brown prefers smaller safeties with corner skills over traditional safeties like this kid.

I really like Foreman as a player. He is wanting a USC offer pretty bad, but they are likely to get commits from other prospects.

That's my read on it too. I think there are others that USC wants that are further up their board. I don't think Foreman gets an offer unless USC misses a couple of times with some other safeties.
