I 'm not one who believes our elected officials at the statehouse in Denver should be spending much time concerned with college athletics, but they sure fumbled away an opportunity to help athletic programs at Colorado colleges and universities this year.

Interesting - Ringo throws Chuck Heater out there as a possible DC hire

I'd prefer him to some of the other names I've heard. It's going back to the well, but he's a very good recruiter with a lot of experience at very successful programs. He probably made a career mistake by following Addazio from Florida to Temple, but it does show that he places a premium on his relationships and wasn't interested in staying a "Co" defensive coordinator - wanted to run his own show again.
 
werent we talking about heater as a possible head coach or some other position when we fired hawk?
