Wofford tied at South Carolina (7-7) late in the 3rd.

GA Southern down 10-7 at Georgia with 30 seconds left in the half.

Michigan State and Northwestern in a good one (20-20) in the 4th quarter.

Michigan destroying Iowa (42-17) late in the 4th. Could Ferentz get fired despite the contract?

FSU wins the ACC Atlantic by whipping Maryland today. They'll play either Miami, GT, or Duke in the conference title game. Wild guess here, but I'd say the ACC's 2-year sellout streak in the conference championship game is about to end.

The ACC and Big East should lose their auto BCS bids.

The ACC and Big East should lose their auto BCS bids.

There needs to be a rule that any auto-bid comes with the stipulation that the conference champ has to be in the top 12-15 of the BCS standings. FSU would certainly be deserving of a BCS bid if they win it but if they get upset in the CCG it's likely that a 5-loss, maybe even 6-loss, team could get the BCS bid.

Can't decide who to root for there. Which one would help our RPI more?

:smile2:

All I can think of is how sweet it would be for Lane to go 7-5 in a year that USC was supposed to play for the national championship.

I don't get GT fans. If CU was 5-5 and playing a beatable team with a winning record, Folsom would be rocking.

I'd kill to be in that position right now at CU.

Atlanta is not a great sports town aside from all the UGA fans. We all know the stories of the Braves not selling out playoff games, but that's still no excuse for that poor showing when they're having a halfway decent season.

Clemson goes up 13-0 on NC State, then State comes back with 24 straight to go up 24-13, then Clemson scores 35 straight to go up 48-24 early in the 3rd.

Mora took his team to San Bernardino before the season to toughen them up.

Embree installed the unstoppable no huddle offense.

So? Rick had those same players. My point is that coaching matters. We wasted our fall camp doing stupid ****, they spent theirs doing useful ****.

I also didn't see where you said CU should be a ranked team that handles USC and wins 9+ games this season. Does it take NFL-caliber players to beat CSU and Sacramento State? To avoid 7 straight losses by 25+ points?

Maybe Jimmy was being sarcastic.
