#23 Colorado Buffaloes!!!

AP voters are much better than the coaches. This is one of the things that screwed up the BCS.

Is it really the first time since 96/97? I guess for AP. We were 25th in Coaches for a few weeks in Patton's last NIT appearance season IIRC. Haven't seen this weeks Coaches Poll yet

Most important though, is the RPI#. Am I correct in seeing that as #8 ?

With that, and the rest of the sked, gotta be within the top 40 at year's end, just holding serve at home and grabbing a couple on the road---say Utah, OSU and Wazzu!

I say we just keep the RPI in the Top 10 and win the Pac-12 tourney to remove any selection committee issues. Even with that resume, we'll probably still end up with a 5 seed.

Baylor is #24...AP got it right

It's not that hard in some cases. You put teams into tiers based on resume. Then within those tiers you ask yourself which team you think would win on a neutral court. Since CU beat BU on a neutral court, it's kind of easy to answer that question.

Coaches is a joke. Zero excuse to not rank CU, this is why you don't pay attention to coaches as they are only focused on their teams. And yeah, it does piss me off after the week we just had.

Agree with both. In addition to Nik's point, Colorado also won that tournament and have a better overall record than Bailer. While the coaches have Bailer still ranked, and ahead of Colorado. The AP writers are much more aware than coaches which isn't totally surprising even if it is stupid.

UConn lost to New Mexico tonight. That'll get them out of our way assuming we take care of business this week. Movin' on up!
