OKAY BOHN, time for you to announce these changes you promised....

After listening to Embree after the game on koa. Doesn't sound like he is going anywhere.

What makes him think his job is so secure unless that moment during the Stanford game when Bohn was on the field was just for the cameras. My assumption is Bohn was going to drag this out as long as possible. Washington, Arizona St., Utah; first half hanging in. 2nd half starts the same way, the other team gets the ball and their running back is tiring himself out. Then Brown starts really going stupid and deciding that our defense is so good that we can have 2 down linemen and drop everyone into coverage. Unless FB gets its own AD so the prez can have a scapegoat, Benson needs to get his sh*t together, along with the regents and stop looking for excuses. I'm sure some donors would be glad to send their money in for buyouts.

Silence acting like business as usual is even worse than coming out and standing behind Embree and his staff. At least if you do that you are sticking your neck out a bit.

I don't see how a football AD is going to help at all, unless that man has unlimited power over hiring/firing, which he won't.

Of course, if that person did have that power, and that person turned out to be Mac, we're ****ed.

Seriously. WTF is going on. When are they going to announce what changes are being made? I think the longer this goes on the worse it is for Embree.

That is, if they were 1000% behind him like Embree was quoted as saying than they should have already come out, before the Utah game, saying win or lose, this is a rebuilding project and he's our man.

2nd best would have been to say it after the game.

That they still haven't said anything really does make me think it is not finalized yet. They were waiting on the results of the Utah game to make the call.

But by early next week they have to come out and say WTF they are going to do to fix this, who is gone, and who, if anyone is staying. My gut still tells me that JE is safe for 2013 but I hope he is not. As for the rest of the crew, no clue what they are going to do other than GB is probably a goner, or at least demoted to DB coach.

Jon DThree isn't going anywhere. And I can't imagine any OC or DC worth a **** would want to work for a half-baked lame duck coach like DThree. So we have years more of a substandard product on the field. If only the Benson and DiSteph took football as seriously as we do. Oh well. Time for bball.

"Jon Embree's rebuilding efforts as the University of Colorado's football coach have been fortified with a two-year contract extension that takes him through the 2016 season. "Jon has brought respectability and pride back to CU when it was needed," athletic director Mike Bohn said Monday. "We believe the wins will come (and) will match the world-class status of the university. . . . We're honored and proud he's our coach."

Expect this to be announced come Monday. Faaackin' dumbasses.

Gridiron. You scared me b/c that sounded realistic. Glad it's not what has been said, yet...

Seriously this is the most important thread on AB right now. When and what will be the Administration's response to this epic failure of a season?

Embree actually said that? He really believes he's a coach?

all's quiet on the buffalo front right now. should be an interesting few days once the cease fire is lifted.

Mark Johnson was on his soapbox during the game on the topic of retaining Embree. He said that letting go of embree at this time would "be a death knell" for the program. There was the obligatory reference to Mac's 85 campaign. And there was no mention of any coaching decision, statistical accolades, or recruiting analysis.

I heard Mark Johnson on the postgame talking about how last years recruiting class was great, and this years was also going to be great, and once you started stacking these recruiting classes up, then things would turn around

Whose recruiting class was he talking about, USC's?

He is very perceptive, because the program is thriving right now. I mean if we are rocking at 120th out of 120th right now, and we make a change, we could REALLY regret it.

We're putting in a new paper towel dispenser in the women's restrooms. Can't wait for the Bohn/DiStefano email update on this vital facility improvement that will allow us to compete with the Pac-12.

CU is such a laughingstock. I wish Larry Scott would provide an ultimatum to these incompetent AD/Admin ****s with the Big East/Temple treatment.

Why on earth would CU give Embree an extension?

He's already under contract for three (3) more years, and I can promise you - NO ONE is making a play to try and land Jon Embree as their next head coach. Not even an NAIA team would touch his incompetent ass.

If you are going to give Embree 5 years, then give him 5 years, but sure as hell don't give his idot coaching ass an extension before those 5 years are up.

A death knell? What the **** does he call 1-11?????

Well, Gridiron, you managed to sucker in one of the dumbasses that troll these parts.
