No one has brought up this name in the coaching search, why not?

He spent his first 13 years in college football. He was the DC at Cincinnati, Oklahoma, and Kansas State.

There is a good chance he will get fired after this year. He has name recognition. There is no doubt he can recruit.

Why not throw a heap of money his way and see if he can turn this around?

In...plus the good news is we could take a flyer on anybody and it pretty much couldn't get any worse.

No thanks. Mostly bluster more than anything.

He would try to upstage Lane Kiffin and end up just losing a lot of football games.

We have a coaching search going on? Holy ****! What reputable journalist broke that news? I haven't seen anything here or on NetBuffs! Damn, who scooooooooooooped that one, Cunado?

So 2 AFC championship games in his first 3 years with less talent than the rest is a flop? I'll take that.

How's he doing now? Rex ryan is a big mouth who want's his name on twitter every other day. Is he going to sniff bohn's feet to get the job?

Don't think we could foot the bill for Rex Ryan. We can't afford to stub our toes on another hire.

I was thinking pro coach, but not Rex Ryan. Until the last couple of weeks I was thinking Mike Shanahan. Shanahan was getting heat in Washington after his "give up the season" comments and losing to Carolina at home. But since then the Redskins have won two games (including a big THanksgiving win in Dallas) so I think Mike is safe for another year.

Bohn reportedly had reached out to Shanahan before. Shanahan has deep roots in Colorado (with his huge mansion he built in Cherry Hills) and would be a popular hire with the fans. It's been a number of years since Shanahan has been in the college game but he did come up initially coaching in the ncaa (on Oklahoma's staff and he was the offensive coordinator at Florida)
