Does anyone think this year PAC 12 schedule is dumb?

The fact that the PAC 12 championship is a repeat game from the previous week is a fail.

No way should there be any cross division games the last week of the season.

Notre Dame is the cause of it. They either play Stanford or USC on the last weekend of the year so it causes an imbalance late in the year.

That's part of it, but it's also just a matter of chance that the UCLA-Stanford game happens to match the 2 teams that will be meeting in the CCG if Stanford wins tonight. In most years this will not be the case that the one inter-divisional game in the last full weekend of the regular season will match the 2 teams that will be meeting the following week in the CCG.

Rival games should be the last game of the year for all teams.
Stanford should be playing Cal today and SC should be playing UCLA.

You want USC to agree to equal revenue sharing, you agree to let USC play ND at the end of November when the game is in LA.

That throws off the schedules of the other CA teams. Cal's season ended last week and UCLA played Stanford this week. I don't like it, but this was a compromise that Scott and the other universities had to be willing to make.

Just curious...... Why do they insist on the last weekend? What benefit as opposed to a week earlier?

This. It's just another reason to dislike Notre Dame. They're f**king with the Pac 12.

OK, so what about Stanford? They play ND in their last game every other year.
