Denver Post Poll to retain Embree

Voted. It's close so far.

Voted. No leads 55-45 at this point.

The headline on that page is a story about CSU beating East Bum**** or whoever they played this week. May be attracting some lammies to vote, and you know they're voting to keep Embree....

I guarantee that page is drawing a lot of lamb fans with the football and basketball wins today, and they are voting to keep him.

I cant believe it is even close. What a joke.

It's all the rammie fans and other PAC fans stumbling on to it voting to keep him. I hate going to the Post's website with all their ads and popups but I made it over there and even managed to vote once through porno mode on chrome ;)

Let's flood this folks. 59% in favor of firing Embree when I voted. Clearly lots of Rammies and various Pac-12 Huskies, Utes, etc voting to keep him.

Many others at AB have said the same, but with every passing day JE's chances of staying on staff are declining.

He is clearly not receiving a ringing endorsement from Bohn. There is no doubt they are seriously exploring canning him and the repercussions of doing so, what it would cost to bring in a high quality HC, etc.

I know there are a lot of Bohn haters (I am not one of them) but there is no way he is just being indifferent as some have suggested. I believe Bohn has known for a while that the best path would be to fire JE and JE has given him enough crappy performance to justify it.

We'll see but with each passing day I am getting more optimistic.

wellif thes polls are feelers put out by the school, it is pretty clear what the public wants. now it is just time to make it happen.

I don't buy the idea that the polls are feelers put out.

If they can't tell by the empty seats at Folsom, they're not capable of leadership.

After reading that a second time, I rescind my previous statement. It is obvious that those calling the shots in Boulder are not capable of leadership. I still am not convinced Bohn is a complete failure, but I also don't think he is calling the shots, either.

Bohn is a master of the trial balloon. He never does anything without running it through some kind of filter first.

I guess it is a positive old mister wind sock has his finger in the breeze, he could still stumble into the right decision....

I can't believe there are no real leaks about what is going with JE and when some kind of announcement is going to be made by Bohn. Other coaches are dropping like flies now. I would think we won't go beyond Monday or Tuesday at the latest.
