Coaches that should NOT be considered

Coaches that would make your blood boil with anger if CU took serious interest in hiring.

I'll start off with these two

Gene Chizik
Dave Logan

Petrino. Can't take the off field issues here at this point.

Neuheisel. Just sayin.

Funny how people offer reasons for the pros, but just names for the cons.

The biggest red flags to me:
-no experience as coordinator or head coach
-no experience building program from essentially ground up
-free spirit. Good in life, not as coach. We need discipline.
-"up-and-coming" is okay for OC and DC, not HC
-significant ethical issues. Doesn't work for boulder/admin. We need respected names.

We need someone enthusiastic to mould the program into their legacy. It is not going to be easy, but if they do it CU Football will be as synonymous with their name as CU Basketball is becoming with Tad Boyle.

No to Charlie Weis or Mark Mangino.

The all-you-can-eat buffets in the area disagree.

I think we can all agree that Logan, Petrino, Chizik, Calhoun and a few others are the start of a massive cluster. Only reason I wouldn't be too hesitant on Calhoun is where he is in the state; which might be the reason why he should stay at AF.
