CU basketball up 19th in Coaches Poll

They got it right this time for CU.

However, UCLA 24th is laughable. No way do the Bruins deserve to be ranked right now, but, for the sake of the Pac-12, I'll accept it.

The game @ Wyoming is going to be HUGE!!! No stopping us, but from my experience historically the refs suck arse up there!

HUGE game. Really hope a big contingent of you Front Range Buffs can make it up there and give our boys some massive support. Wyo is likely to be 7-0 and you know the MWC gets fired up to take down the Pac-12 at any opportunity they get, and the resistance will be especially tough on their home court. Our Buffs shouldn't need any motivation however, as they simply came into Boulder last year and owned us in every facet of the game.

The good news is the Pokes have to travel to SoCal (game @ UCSB) on Nov. 28, so we should have the fresher legs.

This is the type of game that can be the difference between a "good" and "really special" season for us. Gotta take care of business in this one.

Suppose we have a clean sweep against Wyoming and CSU...would Top 15 be likely for us even if we lose at KU?

Not without some serious help from teams ahead of us.

Yep, top 15 is possible, but once you get to this point we're currently at (inside the top 20), it becomes quite tough to move up without big wins or surprising losses from teams ahead of you. @ Wyo and CSU would be very solid wins, but chances are IF (big IF) we won both of those, it would get us around to around 16th. Just my 2cents.

We need to win these OOC games if we want to stay in the Top 25. We will lose games in conference and the league is looking to be pretty weak again.
