Dude is incredible. He was totally unstoppable yesterday. AF had no answer for him. The contrast between him and SHT was incredible. SHT looked like SH!T.

It's really fun to watch the kid play and you can tell that his ability to finish with either hand really gives defenders trouble. I like having a big that can hit FT's too! If he stays around another couple of years, it's hard to imagine this team not making a deep postseason run or two.

He's going to make the Buffs increadibly hard to defense. Because of his mobility and skill level you can't just stick a big slug on him. Most teams are going to have to use their most athletic big man and as he develops they will also have to be aware to help on him. This means that he will be able to shift whole inside defenses opening up huge gaps for our wings to slash to the hole.

Hoping SHT does what he did last year and starts to figure it out as the season goes on. Defensively he's looking decent. And yeah, Jelly is looking ****in tough right now! Having a guy like him on the floor makes it so much easier for guys like Roberson.

Scott improves with every game. I hate to say the phrase 'wait till next year' but thats about it. He will dominate.

There is no doubt that Scott is one major reason why the Buffs are ahead of where they were at this point in the previous two seasons. His inside presence makes the team harder to depend and the options on offense more diverse. He is remarkable poised for a freshman big man.

Can Boyle & his staff evaluate or what? They had Scott pegged early on when for most part other coaches were still on the fence about his abilities.

Where did the name "Jelly" come from?

Commentator in Paris. Scott isnt the fastest athlete on the team and they said he looked like Jelly out there running.

I thought I heard the Frenchies call him "The Chocolate Jellyfish", and that was the origin. Whatever, as long as Jelly keeps improving like he has!

"The world's only chocolate jellyfish" to be precise. But that was after they started with Jelly referring to Jello Shot.

So can we bring our own chocolate jello shots into the Keg? (could get messy - I can hear the is "Is that a chocolate jello shot in your pants or did you just have an incident?" questions now). They will be essential for the When Jelly Scores/rebounds/steals/blocks/assists Drinking Game. Maybe they could sell them in Boedecker at half time.....

Thanks for clarifying. I thought we were calling him "Jelly" because every other team was going to be jealous of us having him.
