After the past couple days and his comments that followed him reading his "Open Letter", how have your feelings changed (if at all)?

Remember, thirty hours ago, when you said he would heal this divide?

You're a ****ing idot.

He is still living his glory years from 1990.

I don't think he understands today's football world.

Yeah. I'm sad right now and I'm also a little offended. Not only did he fail to heal, I think he just labeled me a racist along with anyone else who doesn't want to factor race into an employment decision.

Appreciate what Mac did back in the day, but he just became the drunk, racist grandparent that just goes off on ridiculous tangents.

I've said this many times and I'll say it once more - If you want to discourage people from hiring Black coaches, all you have to do is make it hard to fire them. Mac isn't doing Black coaches any favors.

OBVIOUSLY he's out of touch. But I thought he made some good points about how Bohn lost all integrity yesterday.

sparky - why did Bohn lose integrity? I don's see how it's different than Mac leaving before his contract was up. I don't see it as any different than when Embree and Bieniemy left and took their recruits with them to UCLA. This is the nature of the business and it's a 2-way street. I'm interested in your take on that. I see Mac holding Bohn to a standard to which he didn't hold himself and his proteges.

I don't see Bohn as the one losing integrity here. He did his job. What others are doing is engaging in petty accusations of racism and intentionally trying to destroy a man because they disagree with his decision. That, to me, is a lack of integrity.

Seriously? He lost integrity by firing the most incompetent coach CU has ever had? I don't follow. To my way of thinking, that shows integrity. It shows courage. It shows a commitment to the institution he's working for. Lack of integrity? Quite the opposite.

You mean Bohn stepping up and firing a failure without waiting a full extra season? Or they fact that Bohn didn't throw JE under the buss by simply spending the entire press conference noting that CU was dead last in the nation in scoring offense, defense, and just about any other statistical category that counts?

If Bohn was telling Embree he had time and that they were in this together, for the long haul up until Sunday, he lied to Embree, Embree's staff, and the team. Mac left before his contract was up to deal with an issue in his family. I think it's a little different. I don't think Mac is an exemplary man, but I can see why he's saying what he's saying. He's standing up for one of his own.

Love coach Mac. But coaches contracts have been bought out before and they'll be bought out again and again and again.

Vic gets it...

Thought it was an understandable, politically incorrect, defense of someone he cares about.
Seriously, is this guy OMFGasm cloaked as a BYU fan masquerading as a Yoot fan? I just want to push a grandma down the stairs when I read anything he spews .....

Buffs fans need to stop with all the negative posts. From former players to typing tough guys and gather around, raise money and support the program regardless of your feelings towards Bohn

So it's cool for Embree to fire Brown and Cabral two years into this "mandatory" five-year process because he didn't feel they were getting the job done, but it's not cool for Bohn to fire Embree two years into the process because he didn't think he was getting the job done. Glad we've got that worked out.

Waaay negative. Time to move on. Thanks for the ride 20 years ago, it's time CU gets back to being relevant. This old man rant doesn't help. Page turned.
