It would be as an OC, and there's really no denying he has an excellent mind for offense. Taking KU 12-1 (7-1) in 2007 is nothing short of downright impressive. We're not hiring this guy as our coach, and likely not even as OC because he's too hotheaded for Boulder. Relax.

Mangino was mentioned early on, then it was shot down. Mangino's agents/people saw that and are doing a good job trying to parlay that into interest for a job somewhere, anywhere else. When it comes to the coaching carousel, agent will, and should, use any rumor to their advantage for their client.
