Starting to turn a perennial losing program around as HC. DC of the year for Michigan. He is from California. Should be worth a look.

Interesting. Anyone want to make a profile up? My lazy ass reads and not much more.

Career record at EMU: 10-38

2009: 0-12
2010: 2-10
2011: 6-6 (not bowl eligible due to 2 wins vs FCS teams)
2012: 2-10

I'll pass - if he can't get it done in the MAC, there's no way he's getting it done in the PAC-12...

Ugh - 2-10 in his 4th year? Down from 6-6 in his 3rd (which he might have been using the prior HC's recruits)?

No way.

Real funky artist!

Oh, wait! NOT that Ron English.............................................................................never mind.

As an EMU grad (and thus a fan of arguably the two worst programs in CFB this year ) ... I would say no. We were optimistic after last season, in which we just missed being bowl eligible by losing to a pretty good NIU team that is going to the Orange Bowl this year in the last regular season game. But this season was dismal ... I'm frankly surprised EMU didn't fire him.

In fairness it is difficult trying to get fan support and financial support when your campus is 7 miles from the University of Michigan.

He was a pretty good DC for Michigan under Lloyd Carr though.
