Hypothetically, if the Buffs make the New Mexico Bowl in 2013...

hell yeah......all the pain of losing and not going to a bowl.......traveling to a bowl game is the final step of supporting the BUFFS no matter where its at....easy drive as well

absolutely. i'll go just to eat some decent mexican food. nocal is killing me. no taco surf. no california burritos. no el tarasco. no la penita. a wasteland of bad mexican food.

get on Bart and go to the Mission.

Two reasons for this thread:

1. The New Mexico Bowl is about the best case scenario for 2013.
2. The Arizona-Nevada matchup on Saturday is really struggling to sell tickets. The Buffs and their fans could potentially endear themselves to a conference bowl partner with a big showing.

i have! it is "ok"... i went with a friend to some place in soma that he swore was worthy (and this was after a half dozen beers at 21st amendment) and it was just "ok"...

but, i digress.

if the Buffs make a bowl game in 13, it would be so freakin' epic that the food wouldn't matter. now, the booze on the other hand...

soma is the new mexico bowl and the mission is the rose bowl of mexican food.

I'll will be there. Used to tear that city up! Is Beyond Ordinary or Rascals still around?

I do miss me some el terasco. Yummm....

El Rancho on Divisiderro has California burritos. So does Los coyotes on 16th. Neither of them are great, but then I don't really like California Burritos anyway. But if you're looking to scratch an itch...

My current favorite taqueria is Taqueria Guadalajara at Mission & Russia (near Ocean). Everything there is very good but it's not exactly on the beaten path.

And Dio, of course I'd go see the buffs if they were playing in the nut bowl or whatever it is called in San Francisco.

It's unfortunate that our most prolific road trippers are no longer allowed back in New Mexico....

Well, depends. Am I single or not? How much money do I have? Do I have to go with sweaty teets? These are all important questions that need answering.
