Really, really like this hire.

Wonder if he might also work with the return guys a bit?

This is a fantastic hire. Relatively young and with a great resume as a player and coach. Name recognition in California and Texas.

In before Rialto bitches about the hire.

To save time and trouble, I bring you Rialto (and his brah, Buff04):

"SJSU or CSU level ...coach.*... In general, we cannot win with these types of ...coachs.*.... regardless ......* From what I have seen so far, our ....* staff* ...so far is actually WORSE......... *than .......* the old staff."

* Sorry, I had issues with strike-throughs or I would have used them.

You forgot to add syko's idot comments

I'm pleased with this hire. Hopefully the rest of the staff rounds out well.

Tifwiw but I asked about Walters on rivals and nearly every aTm fan said he was basically the worst thing ever

Dude earned a Bachelor's AND Master's degree from Stanford in 4 years, while playing football. He's smart. Aggie and smart do not mix. Not surprised they hate him.

Just tifwiw, but aggie fans were claiming some stats where they had the "most drops on cfb" and he was basically a complete non-factor in recruiting

It sounded like he was only hired right before the 2011 season, so I'm not sure why it says he was there for 2 years. The staff was then let go roughly 4 months later.

Not even going to try to blame drops on the WR coach. "So guys, when the ball is coming at you, just like, put your hands around it"

I can see why Aggieland was upset. If there's one thing they do well there, it's squeezing their balls.

We'll learn a lot about his recruiting abilities with Joshua Jones. Hopefully he can close

Quick question. Do you think he advertised his offer from Arkansas to because he wanted puff himself up and let everyone to know he got it, because he wanted to thank them for the offer(unlikely- why would you thank them via twitter), or because he wanted to endear himself to Buff fans?
