"Duke already has a schedule and they want me to come out for a visit this spring. Duke is pretty high up there. I talk to a lot of the Oregon State coaches on Facebook. Colorado, Washington State and Washington, those are some big schools sending me stuff. There are so many schools."

There are a few programs Bacon said he'll seriously considering including Washington, Oregon, Nebraska, Duke, Washington State and Colorado. Duke is not out of the picture because his grandfather lives in the area so distance wouldn't play a factor.

The 6-foot-4, 280-pound Bacon is listed as an offensive tackle, but he could end up at several positions along the offensive line. Bacon lined up mostly at left tackle on Sunday, and although he may not have ideal length to play the position at the next level, he fared well there in one-on-ones. Bacon has a powerful initial punch, but also does a good job locking on, moving his feet and driving opposing defensive linemen. His consistency over the course of the day made him a solid No. 2 performer on the offensive line behind Mama.

Sporting only a TCU offer coming into the event, we expect that will change in the coming weeks and months. Bacon bends well and showed an athletic, quick pass set throughout one-on-one drills protecting the edge. Not a massive kid, Bacon is an athlete and reminds us of Cameron Hunt at a similar point in the process last year.
