The post by Chicago Buffs made me think this might be a good idea. Let's use this place as a way to post any watch parties that people know of for Thursday's game.

Thanks for posting our info Matt! If you are ever interested in what we are doing in Chicago, it is always up to date at https://www.facebook.com/ChicagoForeverBuffs or @chicagobuffs. Our normal watch spot for bball is Old Town Social (but we only show the bigger games) and Fireplace Inn for football, but Finnley Dune's for this special Vday rematch.

For the ASU Game on Sat, we are having a bags tourney/watch party at their bar- hope you can make it to show em who's boss! Register here: http://bagsandballs.eventbrite.com/

See you on Thurs for a Zona Sweep / BlaCk oUT!

My favorite thing about this site is when it's used to connect folks in real life for good times. I'm really hoping that basketball watch parties can become the next evolution of that.

The CU Alumni Group is working on getting a list of watch parties for me, but if anyone knows of any feel free to post them here first.

Due to it being Valentine's Day, apparently a lot of chapters aren't having parties. Any others that you guys know of?

Hey guys- I'm the leader of the Portland chapter. Thanks for posting our location. I found this for Chicago as well:

What Are You Doing for V-Day? How About the Zona Rematch at Finley Dunne's?

Single or not, join us on Thursday for the Black Out / Valentine's Day massacre. Our home court advantage; their bar. Specials include .25 cent wings, $3 tall boy cans (PBR, Schlitz), $2 Rolling Rock drafts, $4 22 oz. bud light drafts, $4 shiner drafts, $5 Zona bombs, $5 Sonoran hot dog w/fries.

Tip off is at 9 pm.

The watch parties in Portland have changed hands in the last year or so. Some of the older alum have given way to a younger crowd. If you have been to some of the Portland parties in the past and been disappointed, please check them out again. Lots of people and lots of noise.

Edit - I vouch for NattyQ. Excellent job of re-energizing things in Portland.
