2013 Spring Position Changes

No issues with moving guys around, just sucks that the overall lack of size and athleticism on this team will never be more apparent.

I like the D.D. move. I assume Norgard goes back to defense right? Gotta like that. I don't remember seeing anything about Payne or Crowder on defense in HS... Do they really have no shot at RB?

It would be nice if we could learn of some of these changes from our own friggin beat writer instead of a national blogger.
The CU beat writer is at a gymnastics competition in Iowa City. He might report on it if he is able to concentrate for long enough.

I like this move with Goodson. If he's going to be productive, it's going to be by him getting one-on-one situations in space.

+1 - he was underused last year. The staff never forgave him for the muff in the CSU game.

I don't have any actual information on Payne and/or Crowder switching, but we will have nine scholarship RB's before any switches and there's only so many snaps to go around and MM likes LB's who played RB in high school. We'll see...

If Pow Pow is moving to the D as some have suggested, I would really like to see Payne and Crowder get a chance this Spring to show what they can do running the ball. Just do not think we got to see what they can do.

There was a post on Rivals some time ago reporting on a tweet from Norgard saying he was moving to defense.

3 QBs will be moved to other positions after Spring ball. This should help alleviate the log jam at the position.

Yep. Screen left and right. Inside zone. Deep fade to McCullogh. Also had punt, punt return, kickoff, KO return and fg/extra point formation. After that I beleive it was the take out menu for Chili's.
don't forget the qb sneak on 1st down

Although I openly questioned giving him a scholarship in the first place, we badly needed (and still need) guys who can make plays in space. I don't know if DD is that guy honestly.

The fact that our staff could work with this guy in the fall, the spring, and in August and he earns the #1 PR spot and then loses it in one play and we never see him again makes me angry. It was an ugly play, but it's on you Embree. You coached him. You prepared him. You pulled his redshirt so he could fill in at CB (rather selflessly) I might add.

If there's one guy who I'm rooting especially hard it's DD. Hope he blows up.

Crawley was PR-1 not Goodson, Goodson was in on that play because Crawley muffed the punt before.

Isn't it possible Goodson hasn't earned much playing time? He rightfully got benched after that muffed punt.

Since you know everything, even know my thought process, you must be psychic, what are the power ball winning numbers?

I can answer that. It'll cost you $42,624,247.89. I need the 89 cents for some walking around money.
