Right, because everybody knows that the success of your football program is in direct correlation to the ****tiness of the uniforms.

We've got it all wrong then. We have "un******" uniforms AND we suck. When Oregon State is passing us up, something is wrong. Mike Riley seems to think the uniforms will help out their recruiting

Also, lol at other schools having custom gloves and our players roll out with these bad boys. Say all you want about it being a trivial difference, but this is a reason why CU is so small-time

Alright. No bantering. This is straight up new uniforms. Post info or get out.

Lulz. I see Flounder is a big shot now. Regardless, agree with Slider. Maybe, out of every school in DI, we have the best opportunities for alternate uniforms. Would be a shame not to take advantage of that.

So for all those uniform haters... name one other school who hasn't jumped on this uniform craze. And please don't say Alabama because they've had the same uniforms for 50+ years while we've had nearly 15 unique helmets and nearly as many uniforms

I'm all for new uniforms. But at least keep our logo and font STRONG. I want boldness not finesse.

How dare we mess with our "tradition"

Oregon State new Uniforms

It appears that the black helmet is straight matte. The orange is metallic with black numbers and the white has the beaver logo on it.

I don't think you can change our helmets save for a game or two a year. Those really are classic (same helmet your whole life, Slider). Everything else is up for change IMO. The worst helmets in that picture are the piss gold helmet between the black and silver helmets and the black helmet with the gold logo.

what about the gold helmet with a matte black ralphie

I'm all for tradition, but slider is right, CU does not have a uniform tradition so we need to stop with the Alabama and Michigan references. The Ralphie logo that most people think is untouchable first appeared on our helmets waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in 1981, and it was...wait for it.....blue.

Personally I want to see them keep Ralphie and keep our color scheme, otherwise fair game for something new, fun, different, etc.

Anything that helps recruiting is worth it. Best logo in college football stays but anything else goes.

I want the new uni's that make quality kids want to come play here. Just like we want the IPF to attract quality talent. And gloves with the running Buff on it...or Stoudt if they really want to be cool.
