Allegedly the UT athletic department is about to get some very bad news about something. I have no idea what it's about and I'm sure everyone loves random rumors but it's all over twitter and where there's smoke there's usually fire.

We went through this with the Longhorns and it turned out to be nothing.

But I don't mind reading rumors of this nature...maybe there will be something to this one.

Maybe Mack has been exposed for the fraud that he is.....or maybe Major has screwed one too many coeds.....

from another site, no idea who these people are

I would not be surprised at this point if the NCAA does not slap us on the wrist for a lack of institutional control. Time to clean this up

Yeah. This Texas thing has the potential to bury an entire athletic department. If my sources are accurate, Bevo is headed to slaughter.

I have the weirdest boner right now.

To start with if Penn State didn't get buried for what they did and Miami is still relatively untouched and tOSU and Oregon have both gotten off lightly then Texas isn't going to get hammered. On the other hand if it were Texas State or Tulsa the death penalty would definitely be in play even if they just bought the kid an extra bottle of water in the airport while waiting for the plane.

Three things to remember. 1) Texas has so much money, resources, and such a grip on the state of Texas they they don't really need to cheat. It stuns me that Mack Brown can have as bad a record as he has with the quality of kids falling all over each other to go there. 2) That said they are a former SWC member, they may not know how to not cheat. That is just the way you do things. The rules only matter if you get caught and then they only matter if you can't talk, bribe, sue, or otherwise get yourself out of the situation. 3) If there is actually something going on or that has happened they will throw financial and political resources at it full blast to try to get off.

I'm reading the saga unfold over on Shaggy. The general consensus so far (I'm only on page three of many, many more) is that anything that gets the AD leadership out of there is a good thing--no matter how embarrassing.

Well...Dodds turned UT into a machine. They were languishing for years. Probably is time to pass the torch. Just think if Mack and Barnes were replaced with competent coaches. Holy ****.

It still bothers me that your username is abbreviated.
