Again, we have been debating this in Barzil and it seemed worthy of a vote here. My vote is for Dillon. If it is Webb I am going to need medical attention.

Apparently you do since you entered the thread and commeted, as well as I would suspect 95% of BuffNation. The media is talking about our next QB and plenty of ABers in different threads.

Read your thread title again.

Boyd. Ask the mods to change your title and delete the sarcastic replies.

As with everybody else, if Webb starts I am going to go into meltdown.

not me....complete faith in new coaches (for now). Webb had the most incompetent set of D1 coaches in the last twenty years attempting to coach him. Have to give Mac II the benefit of the doubt in whatever decision he makes....even if he chooses Webb

I do not want to see Webb starting for us. Even with the bad coaching he also has had his clear failings.

If M2 decides to start Webb I hope that he has the willingness to yank him when the meltdown happens and not further compound the error by sticking with him despite it not working.

+1, I think for the CSU games the coaches will look to experience and work Dillon into games.

Two coaches who started Webb at QB for an extended period of time were both fired.

Good point. I think it´s a stretch to say that Webb was the primary reason for those coaches failures but he is not a winning BCS QB and he has proven that at 2 unis now. Time to give the rock to someone with upside potential.

If Webb starts this season. I will not be attending any games this year.

I had never left a game early in the past 7 years. Last year I left 3 in the 3rd quarter.

Time for some new blood at qb.

Would live to see a guy like Hirshman realize his time is running out and take control early on here in Spring. Health hopefully is no longer an issue and he's got enough tools to win some games for us. I'm less worried about his slower delivery if the OL can be solid for us because I think you can get away with the slower release at this level particularly if coach Mac's offense simplifies the QB decision tree.

Hirsch always seemed like a kid with a ton I confidence, but injuries have set him back and in his limited game time he seemed like he was trying to do too much knowing he wasn't going to get a long look.

I also think Hirsch is pretty good to be honest.

I would have a hard time watching a Webb lead team. And Hirsch doesn't fit the mobile profile MM talks about, but he does have arm strength.

I think its Dillon at #1, Wood at #2, and then a wild card, like Stevie Joe, at #3.
