Watch Parties

Traveling in Phoenix today. Anyone know of any watch party sites? The Pac12 (rather DirecTV) makes it harder to find.

Thanks Goose! Hardly deserving of it's own thread now!

Still looking for something on the north end of town if anyone knows of a place.

Where's the watch party in Vegas on Friday?

Edit:

Looks like they used to have watch parties at the Cadillac Ranch, which seems to be closed. Anyone from teh Vegas chapter on here have any info?

I need to know where the Watch Party is in the Boulder/Louisville area on Friday. I will have arrived and I'm not sure the hotel has TNT.

Boulder Buff Club has been using Lazy Dog, I think. Harpo's will also have a great CU crowd.

Lists more places now including Fate Brewing in Boulder. I will try to go there once I get check in to my hotel.

Fate is okay, good happy hour. Here is a hint, the door is close to Arapahoe.

Really wasnt a fan of Fate when they hosted the Tournament watch parties. I think it had a lot of potential, but missed some key areas.

1. TVs - They are on the wall above your head if you are sitting at a booth, where you cannot see them. Props for having big TVs, just put them somewhere we can all see them.
2. Wings - If you are going to host a sporting event watch party, have wings, they were sold out basically at tipoff
3. Beer - I prefer cheap american beer (which they dont have, but I understand), but if you call yourself a brewery, have beer you brewed...
4. Food - Dont try to be fancy with everything, they were a little over the top
5. Windows - Put some blinds up, we were all blinded by trying to see the TV with a bright sun background

They do have potential, good location, very clean, outdoor seating, nice decor, Staff was nice, just need to work on some small things, but with that said, I think we will be going somewhere else on Friday.

Kind of got that idea because the site says it is located one block west of Foothills Parkway on Arapahoe!

It was the old Jose Muldons so if you ever went there and tried the original door which was not close to Arapahoe, you would find it locked.

Houston watch party is at Luke's Icehouse on Durham. I'm hoping to make it to Austin, but might have to use this as a back up.

I live 4 blocks from there. I was planning on hitting making it to Austin, but my wife reminded me last night that I agreed to go to a wedding back in Denver this weekend. She booked the flights in November and I had completely forgotten about it. D'oh.

Thanks for that. I have been to Jose Muldoons many times. I would have gone looking for a door that was not on Arapahoe.

I will check to see if my hotel has TNT. If not, I may go to the Lazy Dog.
