This would be a good time to get on Bohn's case about adding a quality men's sports team for the spring such as men's lacrosse. Given the state of football, I wonder if any Buff fans are just going to hibernate until next October or November instead of August or September?

Not sure why it's in this forum, but I'll play.

We're adding W-LAX next year. It also sounds like we'll be adding Sand Volleyball soon. That should set us up to have a M-LAX program. I think it's on the horizon and it will be a great sport to go watch in the spring with some excellent local rivalries in DU and AFA.

No hibernation yet. We still have our WBB team in the dance. Game time 4:30 ish Saturday 5/23 at the Keg versus Kansas Jayhawks. Come out and support these Buffs!!

In the post-game interview, Dre made a point of saying he was flying back to be there in support of Ari and our nationally ranked WBB team.

I'm definitely in hibernation mode. Let's face it, the only spring sport worth watching is baseball, and that's just not going to happen here. Ever.

You wouldn't take in a spring Sand Volleyball match?

Steeplechase and the races over 1500 meters have my full attention.

Run, Emma, run!

You shut your dirty mouth. We'll get a program... some day.... some day.

Only baseball could bring any revenue, and at a school like Colorado, it's highly unlikely this happens. I'm all for adding more sports, but we don't have a budget like Texas or Florida or Ohio State.

The only way I ever see us adding baseball is if MLB moves forward with some ideas it had to invest in college baseball in order to support the growth and development of the sport. Without that, it appears to be too costly to add.

College baseball is becoming bigger with the new draft structure essentially limiting how much teams can spend. I still don't expect CU to add a team any time as the landscape stands.
