Jeremy Adams Transferring

we are now currently good on scholarships. Without dre or spencer leaving. If Dre leaves we are now open to a one year transfer type deal.

Best of luck to him. Any speculation as to why he's leaving? He seemed to be coming on at the end of the year.

Jeremy is a warrior and was one of my favorite players.

Congrats to him on earning his degree and best of luck to him in graduate school.

I will be following him next season and cheering him on no matter what team he is playing for.

All respect to Jeremy Adams. I would have loved for him to announce this earlier so he could go out with the Seniors.

Also, looking at that transfer list and the guys who can play immediately, I'd love to have an opportunity to bring in either David Pellom or Josh Davis to bolster our frontcourt if Dre goes pro.

This is a good question...surely Adams didn't just now realize that CU doesnt have whatever it is he wishes to pursue in grad school?

You could really begin to see what he was capable of at the end of the year when he seemed to be feeling healthy. Came on strong. He'll be missed. Best of luck.

Not a huge loss but I think he would have been a nice asset next year. Would have provided senior leadership, maybe 5-6 ppg off the bench, good perimeter defense, and quality rebounding from the guard position.

We all knew there was one more to go. Maybe it was Mills, maybe Dre, maybe Adams. It turns out it was Adams. Too bad he never was able to reach his potential here. Seems like the kind of player that could be special if fully healthy and confident.

I'm actually not too surprised that it's Adams. I really just expected it to be a medical retirement rather than a transfer...

Um, you do realize that this doesn't necessarily mean that Dre is staying, right?

DARN! Good luck JA! More importantly stay strong maintaining good blood glucose levels. Always have access to at least a quick 15 grams of fast acting carbs at all times in case of a hypoglycemic emergency! 1 of my best friends is a Type 1 so I know all about it because I love her!

Good luck in grad school! Make sure you know what direction you want to go in before enrolling at a school.

Gosh I really wish him well. My thoughts are truly with you with sincerity and respect! Big sigh...

Dre and Mayor? We need you guys! xoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxo VM:gobuffs:

Glad to see that he graduated and is moving on for his Master's....played well off the bench and keeping our APR up!!!

I think it is an indicator that Dre is probably staying. Nothing is ever certain, and I could be wrong, but that's the impression I'm getting.

Agree with the others here in wishing Jeremy nothing but the best. Thanks for the time and effort and good luck!

This. Josh Davis is a force on D with a nice offensive game. All indications out of New Orleans though say that he's probably going pro. I don't think the NBA, but d-league or international. Tulane just got wrecked with the transfers.

Not surprising that he didn't announce earlier. It would have been nice for him to participate in senior day but he may see that as the end of his college career and he is not ready to completely hang them up. Also he has always struck me as a guy who doesn't neccessarily like to draw attention to himself (other than some spectacular plays) so this fits.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Tad knew about this for a while but JA was waiting for a better time for it to come out and it just happened to come out now.
