Jordan Webb torn ACL

Linkage? Confirmed or scuttlebutt? No offense Slider you have been a good source for info, I just hate to hear this and hope it is an error. (Not that I want Webb behind center, but you hate to see a competitor knocked out by injury).

Thanks for the link. But Educational diversity and equity is tough major? Who knew?

I feel for the young man, and I wish him well. He has a big head start in the real world with that piece of paper that says University of Colorado Graduate on it. I am sure he will have much success in life.

That's ****ing rough. Kid's had a tough go of college sports. best of luck to his recovery.

According to coach, yeah, “Jordan is a great young man, one who represents our program well, both on the field and off it as a graduate student in a tough major field of study (Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity).” Didn't he get a BA in General Studies (which might make it a BS degree) from Kansas? By comparison, this major could be tough, especially for a white kid.

What?

Karma to Jordan. Wudda been his last dance as a player so I imagine this stings even more.

Is it me, or do we seem to suffer one non-contact knee injury per off-season?

Karma to Webb - no one want to end their carer that way. Kid is bummed, I am sure. He will be successful in life with his competitiveness and drive.

Get well Jordan. You have put it all on the line for CU Football, and are a true Buff.

Yeah, you have to make stuff up every day for that major! You know how taxing that is?

Tough luck for Webb. Sounds like he's willing to work hard to come back, if the goofs at the NCAA will let him.

If he's granted more eligibility he will have been on the team for three years after graduating. Weird.

Hopefully he has a fast and full recovery and is granted to end his career competing for a spot, not stuck on the sidelines.

I got no sympathy when I blew my ACL out. :sad2:

Of course, not to easy to sympathize with a guy who blew his knee out doing a drunken bicycle stunt at the neighborhood block party. :sad1:

What I would have given to have blown out my ACL doing a drunken bicycle stunt at a neighborhood block party. I blew mine out above treeline at a beautiful alpine lake at the top of a very steep trail. Tearing it up on a nice urban street would have been the pinacle of luxury.

Saw him on crutches today. He did not look too happy so I told him to hang in there. Nice guy. Tough way to end your college career.
