Buffs To Embark On Coaches Caravan State Tour

It's a big ****ing state. You expect them to spend a month on the road ?

It's not that big. It's a 3 hour drive from Denver to Kansas.

They couldn't find a way to make a stop in Sterling? Limon? Lamar? Durango? Craig?

It seems odd to call it a "Caravan State Tour" when the majority of the stops are in Boulder and Denver. They should call it the Metro Denver Tour.

They're going to GJ which is close enough. And regardless... I'm pretty sure all of about 5 CU fans would show up in those locations. Greeley would have been a good spot however

The Metro Denver Tour when 5 out of 11 stops are outside the Denver metro area? That would be pretty odd.

And a big **** you to the entire eastern half of the state.

This is the attitude that makes things hard at CU. Always the focus is on what they didn't do or did wrong instead of what they actually did.

Besides...

I count 6 out of 11 in the Denver metro area. 9 out of 11 on the I-35 corridor.

Monday - 3 stops - Ptarmgan Country Club (Ft. Collins), Bolder Boulder headquarters (Boulder), Ted's Montana Grill (Boulder)
Tuesday - 2 stops - McDonalds (Denver), Blake Street Tavern (Denver)
Wednesday - 2 stops - Waterfront Banquet Hall (Pueblo), Cheyenne Mountain Resort (Colorado Springs)
Thursday - 2 stops - Pasta Jays (Lone Tree, i.e. South Denver), Safeway (Denver)
Friday - 2 stops - Vail and Grand Junction

It's easy to see why there is so much Kansas and Kansas State and Colorado State stuff available in the eastern half of the state.

I'd rather have the coaches hit every high school in the state than every McDonalds.
Gotta put your time and resources where it will do the most good. If there is a $1 million donor in Lamar, I'm guessing they'll get a visit.

Huh - didn't know the old stomping grounds in Montezuma County was now up to the 3rd range of county population density.

Go Dolores Bears!

Aw crap, I'm color blind - although even having a darker shade of green than last is impressive.

Go Bears still stands.
