MacIntyre no stranger to rebuilding projects

Colorado head coach Mike MacIntyre skillfully sidestepped the question like a quarterback feeling the pressure from the backside -- which seems ironic -- since the team he inherits gave up 50 sacks last season.Asked to compare the rebuilding project at Colorado to the one he undertook at San Jose State -- where he took a dreadful Spartans' program and turned it into an 11-win team in 2012 -- MacIntyre gave a pretty stock answer."I think they're both big challenges," he said.

Not much new information here, except he's a bit more candid about how bad the practices were at the beginning of spring practice. I am glad the kids are having fun again...that really is the key to the whole thing. No fun = no passion = no buy in = CU Buffs circa 2012.

I don't know if this year's team will be very good, but my confidence in the program is growing daily. HCMM impresses me.

I still haven't caught the fever.

It's nothing personal. HCMM seems like a nice guy.

HCMM can do and say anything he wants between now and opening day so far as I'm concerned.

My respect for our coach will be based upon what I see on the field against CSU.

I'm waiting to be wow'd.

Yep, time to see what Tuna Mac can do on the field. After 7 years of sunshine and decline, I really don't read these articles much any more.

He's kept his mouth closed - That's good. Other than that, not holding my breath for any miracles.

Wow did you guys know SJSU sucked before MikeMac? First I have heard of this

They Should Just Shut Up about the rebuild of SJSU and get back to the topic of rebuilding our facilities.
