2001 Big XII Championship Game

Great memories. Sigh I hope someday we will see big games again.

That statement alone says it all, Nebraska expects to be in big games. I hope for world peace, I hope for a cure for all cancers... I hope that one day I can buy some weed in CO legally and get stoned.

Fantastic edit job! I was at the game, somehow sitting in a box at the 45 yd line with a bunch of UT fans. Best game I have ever seen in person. A close second was the 1994 game when we beat UT in Austin.

Interesting to see Eric B and Embree coaching in this game.

Man you are such a ****ing douche. Why do you stupid inbred ****s hang out here still? You're like the obsessive ex-girlfriend after a breakup (in your case sister or cousin) who won't let you go.

Because of posts like this. What else do you think trolls feed off of? Especially ones who have nothing else to do but **** farm animals and cook meth.

If it were not for dicks like you, they would probably go away. Yet, you feel the need to continually feed these trolls. Its dateless wonders like you that make him possible. Try getting out of your apartment every now and then.

Adorable

Not going to watch it. I'm sick of being Al Bundy...reliving the glory years. When we are a viable program again I can stomach watching this stuff.

That backfield was sick. Christian Powell would have struggled to get any carries on that team.

Powell hopefully can be the future Chris Brown

Nembot and Huckins hopefully can be the new version of Rogers and Gurode.

Nothing much to do down at the trailer while you wait for the meth to cook and the welfare check to show up.

chris brown was a serious stud. unstoppable.

weird to think that was Barney's 3rd season. and after the 3-8 year....though, that team was much better than the record.

Brown was a stud, but Purify and Johnson were REALLY good in their own rights. Purify was one of the smoothest runners I have ever watched and Johnson just never could stay healthy. Plus Drumm was a viable threat from the FB position. Loved that team because we knew exactly what we wanted to do on offense and very few teams could slow us down.

i used to talk to my buddy about that..sitting in section 117.....everyone on planet earth knows we are throwing on 3rd and long to Dan Graham....but nobody could stop it because we executed up front.

Purify was smooth. Billy Sims is the other running back that ran with those effortless moves.

anyway, i always thought Quentin Jammer was really overrated. McCoy beats him more than once. Derek was good for us.

A shout out to the defense on that team too. Very physical and disciplined. No real freaks, but a lot of bigger guys who were great at assignment football. No doubt in my mind going against our offense in practice elevated the play of the defense overall.

Just think if the botched fake punt would have lost the game. At the time, I thought we were doomed..

I was at that game too and there were some UT fans behind us in the CU section, and I turned around to them to see their reaction and even they were like, WTF was that?

Barnett praised Flores for bailing him out during his post game interview. In hindsight, he should have been playing up CU's right to be in the BCS game (although, not sure that would have been a great result.....).

Richardson is probably the only player on our current roster that would start. Not really sure many would make the 2-deep either

Disagree. He this too much anyway, and I think it hurt us in the Fiesta Bowl. We were a two-loss team.

Oregon was one of two teams that earned the right to play Miami. Obviously nebraska was not the other one.
