He looks the part. Playing for a powerhouse program, he could potentially play very early here. Inclined to agree more with the 247 rating than the Rivals rating.

Impressive athleticism and ball skills. With college-level technique coaching (especially what he'd get here under MacIntyre and two dedicated DB coaches), I think Plattenburg could develop into a very special player.

Brandon Lewis is a BSU commit at CB and said in an interview that BSU told him that we're only taking one CB this year, so there's a good chance my school is no longer on him (or at least wants him at a different position or to red/gray shirt or something similar).

He raved pretty strongly about Cal in a recent Scout article. I think they might be the early favorite.

247 has him going to UW (but that is a little out dated I believe)

Well, if he plays in Texas now, his family must have moved. It's not like he just picked up shop and made an arbitrary choice to switch schools right?

That, or he went to live with a family member to get away from the gang-ridden, violent CHS.

I speak from experience when I speak of Corona, CA

It looks like he originally went to Lamar before moving to Corona and now I guess his family moved back to Houston.

 Corona is easily one of the least crime ridden cities in SoCal and especially the IE. Are you high?

At this point Plattenburg has blown up so much that either of our schools landing him is an extreme longshot, but I have had it confirmed that BSU wants him at safety and is still after him for what it's worth.

I think this is a big time player and whomever gets him has got a serious talent on their hands.
