Kind of a funky throwing motion, but I really like his arm strength and accuracy. He gets the ball there in a hurry.

I read somewhere that he's a midwest transplant so he might be looking to head back to that area for college.

Apparently impressed at the Phoenix Rivals camp a couple of weeks ago.

Drew Doxtator Foothill
After a slow start, Doxtator showed he has no problem getting excellent spin on the ball while maintaining great velocity on his passes with one of the strongest arms in camp. He maintained great ball placement at all level and adjusted well to the different skill levels of his receivers often showing the ability to throw his target open..

I really like this kid. I think he'd be a solid fit for our offense too.

Seems to have nice touch, kind of a weird throwing motion at times though. I was most impressed by the pocket presence, always looking for a receiver down field despite the pressure. Even when he's flushed out of the pocket and on the run, he's still able to find an open man.

Arm is great. I much approve.

Competition is suspect I'd assume, does anyone know Nevada HS football enough to say otherwise?

Competition brings out the best in quarterbacks. The camps are going to be fun to follow.

In terms of producing recruits of national interest it seems like it's Bishop Gorman and everyone else. Foothill got thumped in a lot of games last year (0-6 in road games) and that was without Gorman on the schedule. Drew's 2,003/17/11/51% numbers from last year look promising for a junior QB, but it looks like his team, especially the defense, didn't help him out any in 2012. A must for camping with us this summer.

For fun, here is what Gorman did to their schedule last season. I think the Clark County youngsters who show promise as potential blue chips flock here. *coughValorofthedesert*

The Colorado staff understands the importance of solidifying the quarterback position and is looking at a Nevada QB.

Any consolidated lists available on which prospects will be attending which camps?

I tried looking earlier, but could only find a story with Jordan Servert saying he'd camp with us. I thought Ian Feiber and Cade Apsay said they would too, but I couldn't find anything to support that crazy notion.

He'll be at our camp on Sunday (Rivals). Rivals also nowlists a SDSU offer

Thinking out loud here:

Lindgren hasn't seen Doxtator throw yet. Maybe they're waiting to see him at this camp before they decide on who to offer at QB? Not sure what else they could be waiting on as I think they've seen just about every other QB we're after throw in person already.

What happens then? They make their list and go through it sequentially, hoping for an immediate commit by one of them? Make an offer, wait a week, make an offer, etc.? What?
