Mike Bohn to receive $918K, lifetime season tickets in CU-Boulder buyout

The University of Colorado will spend $918,000 to buy out the remainder of athletic director Mike Bohn's contract, according to a copy of the separation agreement provided to the Daily Camera. In exchange, Bohn promises not to sue the university, according to the separation agreement.

That is an interesting question, Will he go after another job, or retire here in boulder, where it seemed he wanted to be. I believe he grew up and went to Boulder High, and with the money he earned, with the buyout, he can probably retire at the age he is.

I wouldn't be too sure, he's 51. It sure gives him a safety net and he could probably afford to take some time off. I doubt it's in Mike's nature to retire at this point anyways.
 
He will probably go to work for Chuck Neinas. He can stay in town, keep the tickets, still make good money, and not have to deal with the bull**** of the CU admin. Good life.
