What is the timeline for an AD hire?

It's not uncommon for certain high level employees to be part of the process in hiring their boss. I think it would be reasonable for a few coaches to be part of the process. McIntyre and Boyle for sure, and maybe Wetmore or Rokos as well. Not that they'll have a final say in the choice, but their input would be appropriate.

Input/meetings with coaches is essential. Having them on a hiring committee is not.

Didn't we just read a quote about the Oregon AD in this? Chip Kelly talking about how he was part of interviewing him (the potential AD) and how much that guy impressed all the people interviewing him?

So no, I expect the head coaches will have some say. I feel more comfortable with that than just Benson and DiS

Serious question. Can you read?

Sorry, that was a little harsher than I intended. There was no doubt in my mind that Duff was being serious, but I know it's hard to tell around here sometimes.

I have a hard time believing that they have a timeline or a plan at this point. I read somewhere they were targeting early fall but which year wasn't specified...
