It seems like we offered this kid today. Currently playing RB and Safety at Bishop Gorman and he´s second behind Shaq Powell on the depth chart at RB.

He's gotta be a least 16. If he were 13, he'd be in the 8th grade, right?
I'm thinking the question was 2013 or 2014

But what's up with that pic anyway? Looks like he is injured on the ground.

Just him making a tackle after a turnover I would assume unless your question is could we have gotten a pic of him running?

Early high 4* on 247 Sports. He is adamant about playing RB in college, so that could be something to watch in his recruitment going forward.

Watched him on ESPN against a very good team, who's name I can't remember, but he looked very good. He has a very good frame. I think he is going be a bigger back who is in the 225 lbs range.

So I presume he transferred for academic reasons making himself ineligible?

No. He was dismissed for disciplinary reasons. That means 180 days suspension at any Nevada school (public or private). So if Starks wants to play football as a senior he is going to need to find a high school in another state.

My Spidey-sense is that eligibility rules which exclude participation are overridden when there is no similar CHSAA rule creating ineligibility. The kid is not ineligible because of something he did, but because of a stupid transfer rule, peculiar to NV.

But in their infinite "Let's do what's best for administrators" mindset, the initial call by the ass-clowns at CHSAA is "ineligibile", until a call or two from the legal beagles clears some cobwebs and creates a change of heart by CHSAA.

What the heck is this world coming to when young kids make a mistake and adults in the position of power are happy to let that mistake ruin their young lives? The Kronshage thing is being exaggerated IMHO and this may be too. Unfortunately we don't really know why he was expelled and there are reasons for expulsion that could warrant the treatment Starks is getting in Colorado.

But what if he were expelled for kissing a girl on campus or for TPing the house of a teacher or something? I exaggerate with the kissing a girl thing but I remember a few years ago there was a huge deal about a BYU athlete who was found to-hold your breath-have premarital sex. I know they have their policies, etc. but my point is why automatically assume the worst about a teenager who makes a mistake?
