'14 TX QB Aaron Sharp

Wearing that number, my immediate thought was that he looked like Kordell.

CU offered today. He recently placed first in the state 200M with a time of 21.19.

Adam will have a story shortly!

Sharp has already taken unofficial visits to Baylor, Utah and Houston. He mentioned Colorado, Arizona State and Wake Forest as potential summer visit destinations.

"Nothing is for sure yet, though, I am still talking with my parents about my summer plans," Sharp said. "I do know I want to make my college decision before my senior season

Really need him to come out for a visit.

from what you can see from the vids, he's got ok arm strength, but is very smart, crafty and accurate. Great touch on his throws. Sees the whole field from the inside out. Despite his speed, not the best runner. Doesn't have the vision or the moves of even say a Tyler hansen. That said, he's more than capable of making teams pay for ignoring him on the read option or bootleg. and speaking of the bootleg, he appears to throw well on the run.

finally, you get the sense he is calm on the field. He stands up strong in the pocket.

Got to love an athlete at QB who led his T&F team to state championships in the 4x2 and 4x4 sprints this spring.

Yes please. I can't imagine a dual-threat going into Baylor within a cycle of RGIII, there is no way to meet fan expectations. If he is willing to leave home we might be a front runner. Photo makes it look like his wind up is huge, but on video it looks shorter and quicker. With a good Oline he might look even better.

I cannot imagine a dual-threat Texas QB not wanting to strongly consider Baylor because of the success that Briles had with RGIII.

I am right there with you. Every athlete is going to think they have the skill set to match a successful predecessor with good coaching, but short of a Big 12 championship every QB at Baylor over the next few is going to be unfairly compared to a glorified memory of RGIII.

Picked up some new offers from Arizona St, Texas, and Mississippi St. Got to think that Texas offer will be hard to turn down unless he really wants to play QB.

How much times does Snyder have left on the sidelines? Isn't he 74 or something?

Snyder always came across to me as being more undead than alive. I'm expecting him to be on the sideline as long as he wills himself to be there.

Deciding between Utah and K State in the next day or two with Utah possibly being the favorite.

Good call, I'm a bit surprised though that he's not heading to the Little Apple. Have to wonder if this is solid though if anything happens to Wittingham.

I thought Wittingham would be on the hot seat or getting close, but if you go by the Utah fans they think he's not even close.

Interesting. After all the success Utah had with Urban Meyer had in his short stint and the success that Wittingham had at Utah in the MWC you would think that Utah fans would be getting complacent with the lack of results (mainly last year at 5-7) they've had in the Pac 12.

I think they still point to the 2008 win over Alabama.
