NFL considering not inviting ineligible players to combine

in a related move, all prospective engineering graduates must run a timed 40 and rep 225 before applying for a job out of college.
 
In the event that CU has players worthy of getting a combine invite again, could we get some protection from getting screwed in the APR department with this rule?
 
Meh, teams will evaluate kids any way they can if they think they can help their team. Don't think this will accomplish anything. Maybe the league pays for combines and is trying to push some cost back to each team?
