BOULDER — Mike MacIntyre opened his first fall camp Monday as the 25th head football coach in University of Colorado history, welcoming 105 players to the Dal Ward Athletic Center for a series of orientations, meetings and a team dinner.

“We’re excited for the 2013 season and we’re ready for that first practice, to improve, and then get set for that second practice and hope to keep improving each and every day leading to the season opener,” MacIntyre said. “The young men reported back in good physical shape and we’re looking forward to see the improvement they made in their own summer workouts and coach them to the next level.”

Wow, they're serious about that whole no posting to the internet thing.

The coaching staff has opened practice so fans can enjoy the experience of attending, but have requested that nothing be posted to Internet message boards, chat rooms, etc., regardless of the content. No cell or camera phones, phones, video cameras or pets permitted; cell phone activity at any practice is prohibited inside authorized areas during practices. This includes calls, text messaging and live blogging as well as transmissions to social networking sites (Twitter, Facebook, etc.).

Regardless of content? I can think of several AllBuffers who I would personally escort to practice if that policy is enforceable!

Welp, that means you practice attenders who say "Richardson looks like a beast" will have violated our new coaches trust. I expect full compliance.

Just like in the spring, I fully expect it to be ok to report how individual players look and how practice went. The violations I believe tend to lean towards reporting personnel groupings, plays, and packages.

What part of "regardless of the content" doesn't make sense to you?

Edit: Not really trying to be a jerk, just seems pretty clear cut to me.

Sounds like the same policy as the spring and we were fine. I woke up with butterflies. I'll be at the practices

I'm very excited. Will be going to at least one practice. ****ing CU video ruined my nonchalance about the season.

I showed my wife and kids the latest CU Video this morning...my son spent the next 15 minutes singing the Fight Song. Pretty cool to have a 6 year old so pumped up!

Probably the fact that the exact same thing was said for spring practices and yeah...

In the low 80's this afternoon with 40% chance of scattered T-storms at 3, 0% at 4/5pm and then 60% at 6pm. fwiw

So, if you post, "I attended practice today," you are in violation of the "rules?"
