Mac2.0 said they were installing it in his post-practice interview.

I'd say this is a missing sarcasm font issue, but it sounds like you watched the video.

I saw that and he was clearly joking but if CU came out in the Wishbone for the first play against CSU and ripped off a nice play, our fans would go wild. Of course it would require burning Sefo's shirt play #1 and that is about as likely as seeing the Wishbone.

A few says after the boomers suspended Bomar for the auto dealership gig, I was talking to a long-time hard core fan of theirs. I asked him what he thot about Thompson and the fan said he was a great runner.

He then said, "He's such a good runner and we have so many good running backs that you know what they need to do? They need to go back to the wishbone. Thompson can run it and with our back and line, I know it will work."

I couldn't it -- the guy was dead serious.

There are some OU fans who still think the wishbone would work. Barry Switzer appears from time to time and talks about how an option attack would still work. He doesn't typically go so far as to suggest the wishbone return.

Texas did it last year. Kind of cool even though it's Texas.

Whoever called that formation a "wishbone" had never seen a real wishbone formation. That wasn't even close!
