Spencer Dinwiddie Interview at adidas Nations.

**** you. Don't link to a page that collects marketing data before I can see the story.

interesting quote to paraphrase:

if I am in the top 15 then I am gone, if not then I'll probably coming back.

That could easily happen. 2014 draft is stacked. Top 15 would mean he was absolutely dominant all year. Either way, if Dinwiddie goes top 15, Boyle can use that to recruit more top 50-100 guys, and if not, the 2014-2015 team will be CU's best team ever: every player returning, talent/depth/experience at every position, and probably ranked in the top 15 or higher depending on how we finish this year.

No matter what, we are going to be stacked in 2014 and beyond. Boyle has us

We would be in discussion for a final four appearance if not outright for the title if that happened. We would be too loaded not to be.

It's smart to make that statement with specifics since he will be asked often. Get though the season, I'll say he is 99% gone even if not top 15 projection.

Yup, I think he learned from after the season when he wanted to be out the door and it was very obvious. He's tempered his rhetoric, but I think he's caught enough eyes already that he be gone after this yr.

Great news. Him leaving in the Top-15 or coming back is great regardless what he chooses.

Agree with this. It will be sad to see him go (like alec) but he'll do well and make a good name for future buffs and help us recruit better players.

I honestly think if he comes back and we are fresh off another March Madness berth, they'll have to pick us in the Top-15 hands down. PG - Dinwiddie/Hopkins/Collier SG - Booker/Jenkins SF - Johnson/Fletcher/King PF - Gordon/Thomas C - Scott/maybe Miller. That line up would be insane.

I think Gordon is likely to play more minutes at center then Scott. Scott probably is the best low post threat on the team, and he's going to be a lot more effective against PF's then he is against Centers. Having Gordon at Center will free up Scott, more. Also, Gordon's shot blocking ability is probably best served against centers, especially with his wingspan.

Kinda surprised Dinwiddie has the view that he'd be gone only if he's in the Top 15. Right now, he's seen as a late first/early second type of pick. Obviously, has the ability to have a great year and significantly improve his stock... but it is an incredibly talented draft this year. Either way, a great problem to have. Either Dinwiddie has a great year, which almost certainly means CU has a great year as well. Or, we are an incredibly stacked team the next season.
