I'm almost certain the Fox Sports 1 launch will be on what is currently the Speed Channel. It definitely has an HD channel, but I don't know it off the top of my head, because I don't think I've ever watched the speed channel.
It's not the same channel number, at least not for Directv. I think Speed used to be in the 600s and Fox Sports 1 is 219.

It gave me channel 771 for Denver Comcast
It gave me channel 77!!! Which is indeed the current spot for Speed.
So 777 for HD.
